DTS’22 Venue

Venue - German International University, Cairo, Egypt

Egypt forms one of the world’s oldest cultures. Accordingly, it is filled with diverse rich touristic sights spanning all over its territory. Being a transcontinental country it also has diverse scenery and natural resources ranging from vast deserts, to top beach destinations with world ranked scuba diving sights. The diversity of old meets new and western meets Mediterranean also extends to Egypt’s gastronomy and leisure options.

Rekindling its glory, Egypt is established as one of the top countries for industrial growth, education, and research in the region.

One prominent educational institution currently growing in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt in Cairo is the German International University (GIU). The GIU is a German university operating on Egyptian land based on cultural agreements between the Federal Republic of Germany and the Arab Republic of Egypt. The university is founded in partnership with a large number of German universities of applied sciences and the German University in Cairo. It offers undergraduate and graduate (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) degrees in diverse fields including Engineering, Informatics, Economics, and Business Administration, Biotechnology, and Fashion Design.
